Located in the heart of a bustling town, this hidden gem offers a convenient base for exploring the local area. With its central location, guests can easily walk to nearby restaurants and bars, as well as the train station. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated and furnished, with each room having its own unique theme. Clean and welcoming, it feels like a home away from home. Guests are greeted with a bottle of wine and small treats upon arrival, adding an extra touch of hospitality.
One thing to note is that the cottage has steep stairs, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a central location. The cottage was quirky and filled with beautiful decor. The owner, Sally, was attentive and provided clear instructions. The bathroom was stunning, and the bedrooms were unique and lovely. I enjoyed the bottle of prosecco waiting for me upon arrival. I had a wonderful stay.
Although the lounge area was a bit dark and some chairs needed cleaning, these were minor issues. The lack of logs for the heater was inconvenient, but I was able to find some nearby.

Heating was easy to control, and there was even a bottle of bubbles and milk in the fridge. the communication with Sally, the owner, was impeccable throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend. The cottage was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, creating a quirky and unique atmosphere. The host was lovely and ensured we had a great stay. The location was ideal, with easy access to amenities and plenty of places to eat and drink. The cottage also had a communal outdoor space, perfect for letting our dog out for a quick run. a great experience!
The kitchen was a bit cold, but we just kept the door closed. The stairs to the top floor were extremely steep, so it might be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

I recently stayed at a cottage in the heart of the town, right across from Waitrose. The location was exceptional, allowing us to easily explore the Peak District and enjoy the local pubs and restaurants in the evenings. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated with stylish touches in every room. The large bath provided a luxurious experience for the whole family. The cottage was also well-equipped and impeccably clean. It truly felt like a boutique hotel rather than a cottage. I would highly recommend it as a base for your next trip. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning.

Perfect location in a great area, close to many attractions. Good facilities in the well-stocked kitchen. The cottage had a quirky and unique decor that made it feel homely and comfortable.
Beds were too small and uncomfortable, especially for larger guests. Steep and narrow stairs were a safety concern, especially going down.
